They say killings among relatives are worrying

The increase in killings between members of a family in recent times is of concern to various sectors.

For 2011 and the beginning of this year, there have been dozens of tragic and violent events within the same family, who have completed with killings between parents and children and vice versa, brothers, cousins or relatives nearby.

Faced with this situation, the Dominican society of Psychiatry called families Dominican to seek assistance to resolve the internal differences, in order to avoid a tragedy.

The entity advised families go where mediators of conflicts, therapists, priests, neighbours, compadres or anyone else that could help to overcome the differences, to prevent the acts violent.

José Miguel Gómez, President of the Dominican society of Psychiatry, also urged Dominicans to work this year which begins by a healthy family, more unity and u000ato promote more peace and harmony, to encourage couples and healthy children and to have a more balanced society

Recently, in the community Uvilla, Tamayo, belonging to the province Bahoruco, Leopold Medina Nova, 73-year-old killed his son Ariel Nova, allegedly because his child refused to father move a woman to the House where he lived with his mother.

Similar events have happened in different parts of the country. Involving both adults and minors who have used firearms, knives and other objects to commit these crimes.

Violent society
La society of Psychiatry warned that the country is planned as a violent society, with low tolerance to frustration capacity and was not prepared to live in the dissent.

Explains that this situation is taking place in different aspects. He says that the company is trivial problems, violence between a neighbor on a parking lot; u000asomeone killed by a problem in the transport, and differences of pairs.

He pointed out that the concern now is because that violence has moved to the families.

"We have seen parents killing their children, children killing their parents, brothers killing their own brothers, and when thou seest the possible causes are inherent in any family differences", expressed.

Notes that families where they occur more often these violent acts are those which have a degree of dysfunctional and little intelligence spiritual and emotional.

Stresses that occurs in families with poor communication, poor tolerances, the link-layer capacity is not strengthened, there is disagreement, irritability, disharmony and a crisis of values in the system family.
