The same weather pattern that has been causing abnormal waves and rains isolated in the northern part of the country will continue in the next few days though forecast models show a slight decrease in rainfall in the area due to a slight twist of the wind to the east/northeast.

The report of the National Bureau of meteorology (ONAMET), indicates that this wind will continue to drag cloud from the sea to cause rainfall on the towns of Northeast and North regions

Temperatures will be pleasant during the night and early hours of the morning because of the time of the year and the prevailing wind from the Northeast.

The prognosis for Santo Domingo and the National District indicates that the sky clear to cloudy means, with gusts of wind occasional.

For today there will be clouds scattered increasing sometimes with rainfall of short duration and wind gusts to the provinces of Puerto Plata, Valverde, Santiago, Espaillat, Hermanas Mirabal, Samaná, María Trinidad Sánchez, Duarte, La Vega, Monseñor Nouel, Monte Plata and Hato Mayor.
