They will deliver book and documentary of Moreno to Museum

A documentary and a book highlighting the life of the died former candidate presidential, diplomat and businessman Alfonso Moreno Martinez, will be delivered by members of their families to the Dominican resistance Memorial Museum, in a ceremony which will take effect next Tuesday January 10, from 6: 30 in the afternoon.

Audiovisual entitled "history and commitment: Ligia widow Portalatín Moreno, testimony of an antitrujillista family", and the book "Alfonso Moreno Martinez: an exemplary life", will be delivered at the headquarters of the resistance Museum, located in calle Archbishop Meriño number 210 in the Colonial City.

Intervendrán Jesus Moreno Portalatín, son of Moreno Martínez; Luisa de Peña, Director of the Museum; Zaidy Zouany, documentary filmmaker, and José Abigail Cruz Infante, author of the book.

The event will count with the presence of Mrs. Ligia widow Portalatín Moreno, Ana Angelica parents, Jaime and Jose as well as personalities u000anational life and invited special.

The documentary lasts for 70 minutes and the book consists of 157 pages, and both recreate the contributions and the vision of Moreno Martínez to the social, political and economic development of Dominican Republic, very especially to fight antitrijillista.

About Moreno Martínez
was born on December 8, 1922, at San Francisco de Macoris, and graduated doctor of law at the University of Santo Domingo.

Married Ligia Portalatín, with whom had Jesus, Ana Angelica, Jaime and Jose.

Created Bon ice cream and the Fundación Loma Quita spur, in 1970 as a presidential candidate of the reformist Social Christian Party (PRSC), and Ambassador and head of the Dominican diplomatic mission to the United Nations.
