They will supervise the facilities by Christmas in AILA

The Government ordered that a body of special inspectors monitor the holiday facilities granted by Customs to absent Dominicans who are coming to the country, with the purpose that should not be blackmailed.

The Government representative at the airport, Carlos Cota Lama, who gave the information, said the airport Department inspectors will be supervising and monitored 24 hours a day in the halls of customs facilities they receive travellers.

Lama explained that every year the Dominican Government through the General Department of Customs (DGA) and the direction of the airport Department, aim to facilitate the process the thousands of visitors to the Christmas Dominican Republic.

The official stated that with this measure prevents unscrupulous people extorsionen passengers upon arrival at the airport in order to apply them Christmas grace.

Cota Lama, u000awho is also Deputy Director of Department airport in the airport of the Americas, said that for this year are expected about 276 thousand passengers from United States, Europe, Central America, South America and Islands of the Caribbean.
