Three die from heart attacks on Dominican flights

The passengers who died were Luisa Hidalgo, 67 years old, who was flying to New York from Santiago on Delta flight 550, Sonia Sanchez, 56, who died on arrival at Las Americas on Jet Blue 821 from New York and Frank Holger, a German tourist flying with his wife to Punt Cana from Dussledorf on flight AB 7446.
The German died on board the plane an hour and a half out of Punta Cana. His body was transferred to the National Institute of Forensic Pathology in Santo Domingo.
A spokesman from Delta Airlines, explained that someone next to Mrs. Luisa Hidalgo realized that something was wrong and alerted the cabin crew. Two doctors traveling on the flight tried unsuccessfully to revive her.
Mrs. Sanchez, became ill as her plane landed. She told the crew she felt dizzy and paramedics were called as the plane arrived at the terminal building. However she died while receiving treatment.
Luisa Hidalgo, lived in Santiago de Los Caballeros and Sonia Sanchez lived in the Santo Domingo area.
