Tobacco employs 118,000 people

The executive director of the tobacco Institute (Intabaco), Lorenzo Fernández, revealed that there are currently nearly 5,500 tobacco growers that they employ about 45,000 farm workers and that the production of tobacco chain generates about 118,000 thousand direct jobs, of which about 350 thousand people are still.
