Today delivered the National Youth Award

Viewed 14 times.The Minister of youth, Franklin Rodriguez, announced yesterday that everything was ready for the celebration this evening of the version number 16 of the National Youth Award, and that this edition will be dedicated to non-violence against women.
This is an awards ceremony which will feature the presence of prominent figures of national and international art and awarded in 16 categories to equal number of young people.
Some 80 nominees will compete for the awards, five in each row. Each of the beneficiaries will receive seven prizes.
Rodríguez explained yesterday that the winners will receive a laptop, a ring of gold, RD$ 100,000, a course of national development in Taiwan, a statuette, a certificate and a college scholarship.
The investment of the institution in the preparation of the awards amounts to 17 million pesos.
In the awards ceremony, which will take place in the National Theater, delivered accolades u000aSpecial to Nicolás de Jesús Cardinal López Rodríguez, by the celebration of its 50 years of ordination to the priesthood, also baseball player Pedro Martínez, and the young Dominicans who broke the world record for continuous read in voice high.
The production of the awards ceremony will feature a special segment of Christian music and an artistic depiction of the 22 States that make up the Ibero-American Youth Organization (OIJ), which currently is presided over by the Dominican Republic.
This edition of the awards will be conducting Iamdra Fermín youth, presenter and local television production company, and the famed Dominican actor based abroad José Guillermo Cortines (Memo).
For the event has confirmed its presence the Puerto Rican duo of reggaetón Jowell & Randy, and also musical duo third heaven, composed by the Dominican Juan Carlos Rodriguez and Evelyn Herrera, born in Phoenix u000aArizona and Mexican descent. Will also participate Kat de Luna, Milly Quezada, Maridalia Hernandez, Sonia Silvestre, secret, poet, Los Pepes, Joe Veras, Patio sane, Nipo, Mozart the for Frank Reyes, Joel Santos, Luis Miguel the bitter and Martha Heredia.
Prize is held in the festivities of John Melchior Bosco Occhiena, better known as Don Bosco, who was a priest, educator, and Italian writer born on August 16, 1815.
Don Dosco was characterized by a concern to young people.
