Today is the national day of persons with disabilities

Sensitivity to people with disabilities is a value which must prevail in every human being. It is important to recognize that they have the same rights as the other.

Today national day in the persons with disabilities, is a good time to assert their prerogatives.

With regard to date, the Association of people with disabilities physicist Motora (Asodifimo) a new project underway in order to promote the Convention of the equality of rights, duties and the Elimination of all forms of discrimination against such people.

Information is offered by Rosalind Núñez, national coordinator of Asodifimo and spokeswoman for the national network for the rights of persons with disabilities from Dominican Republic (Renaderd).

Provide the details of the proposal, said that promotion of the Convention of the rights of persons with disabilities, a road to social inclusion in the country, they have called this plan u000aspoken by the Organization of the Nations United.

He explained that the Convention sent to have a change of attitude in society and in the regulations that govern different countries, adapting them to equity and not to an approach to health care, curative or disease.

The Asodifimo organization was founded on August 6, 1983 by a group of young people from the Dominican Club of wheel chairs that after participating in a competition in Latin America, felt the need to establish an entity that would address the situation of persons u000awith disabilities
