Tomorrow begins the events for the month of the fatherland

Viewed 18 times.The Government unveiled the calendar of events scheduled during the month of the fatherland, which began on January 26 with the celebration of the birthday of the Juan Pablo Duarte patrician and concluded on February 27, anniversary of the proclamation of the independence of the Republic.
The details were given out by Juan Daniel Balcácer and Rafael Pérez Modesto, Chairman and Vice-Chairman, respectively, of the Standing Committee of homelands ephemeris (CPEP), in a press conference that took place in the Salon Orlando Martínez of the Palace national.
Both officials pointed out that the festivities will be launched at 10: 00 am this Thursday in San Francisco de Macoris, with a military parade that will be headed by President Leonel Fernandez in honor of Duarte, whose birth marks 199 years.
