Turkey suspended its relations with France

Turkey yesterday suspended relations political and military with France, in response to the adoption by the French Parliament of a law that punishes the denial of the massacre of hundreds of thousands of Armenians by the Ottoman Empire in 1915 as a genocide.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan unveiled the measure at a press conference in which he defined as "unjust, racist..." Bill French.
