UASD will take the case of his ARS to the Council

Authorities of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) pose to have recourse to the National Council of Social Security (CNSS) the decision of the Superintendent of health and occupational risks (Sisalril), disable the ARS-UASD for breach of the Social Security Act.

The proposal will be submitted in the Assembly of professors and employees where the measures taken by the University Council after disabling of ARSUASD will be announced today) by the Sisalril, through resolution number 186-2012.

The Assembly was convened by the rector Mateo Aquino Febrillet, who called members of the Academy health insurance so that they come to the Aula Magna of the UASD from 10: 00 in the morning.

At a meeting held last Friday, the University Council met the Sisalril decision of des to enable the ARS-UASD and gave powers to the rector and the executive director of health, Dr. Fernando insurance u000aAlvarez, to carry out initiatives that understand suitable to seek a way out of the impasse.

Prior to the meeting of the University Council, the UASD authorities met with the Minister of labour, Francisco Dominguez Brito, who asked for mediation in the conflict affecting some 20,000 members, between teachers, employees and dependents.

During the session, the members of the Council discussed the details that affect the operation of the ARS-UASD. After it, the rector assured that University servers will not stay without receiving health services.

Although the University authorities have not officially suspended teaching, the Assembly could affect classes during much of today Monday.
