Urged the new police officers to cooperate with prosecution

Prosecutor of San Cristóbal, Faustino Pulinario, said to expect that the new police officers who were assigned to the Criminal Investigation Department and the Department of the preventive police in that city, assist in the prevention of offences, and with them the prosecution can resolve and respond faster to the population.

Pulinario also noted that the number of police assigned does not comply with the demand generated by the province. He indicated that in team sites can be up to three officers, which cannot police, because they have to keep taking care of the barracks.

Said that San Cristobal "has always been a troubled province and that the limitations of the police to deal with crime contributes to the increase in crime,".

The head of the national police, major general José Armando Polanco Gómez, arranged last Saturday the transfer of the police strength of the city of San Cristobal, after u000athat Pulinario handed over a document in which you atribe supposed acts of irregularities in their functions

The police chief said that the move is routine, and it has nothing to do with the complaint made by the representative of the prosecution, which accuses the agents sell orders of imprisonment to those arrested for serious crimes and that allegedly charged tolls to drug traffickers.

The staffing was commanded by colonels, Pedro Cuevas Valenzuela and José Damián Pujols, head of the Bureau of Criminal investigation, and head of the preventive police, respectively.

The police Chief also ordered the transfer of all the members of the Criminal investigation.

However, the major general Polanco Gómez assigned to Colonel, Garibalde Mancebo Baptist, in the Bureau of criminal investigation; and brigadier general, Ramón de la Cruz Martínez, as head of the preventive police.
