Water and power utilities to co-ordinate efforts in Puerto Plata

Edenorte and Coraaplata have joined forces to co-ordinate their efforts in Puerto Plata.

Executives for the electricity distribution company and the water and sewerage corporation held a meeting on Friday where they agreed they could better serve the residents of Puerto Plata by working in co-operation with each other.

The meeting was held at Coraaplata's offices in the city between Coraaplata director, Omali Tavárez and Edenorte Director, Claudia Damirón. Also invited were president of  the Federation of Neighbourhood Boards, Felix Martinez and the head of the Northern region National Police, Colonel Cristóbal Morales Mejía.
All four parties agreed to try to work together to improve the service to local residents.
