Wilton supports Peravia is province Máximo Gómez

The Senator Wilton Guerrero stated its full support so that the Peravia Province is named Maximo Gomez, the man for whose feat was conquered the freedom of the sister Republic of Cuba.

Guerrero, who represents the province by the ruling Dominican Liberation Party, said that while Peravia is simply a corruption of a name, "Maximum Gomez represents the ideals of freedom from colonialism".
