Woman cuts off husband's penis after argument

A woman cut off her common-law husband's penis yesterday morning after an argument, in the Chino barrio, 40 kilometers from the Duarte Highway, say police.
Police say that Beato Santos Sánchez, 40 years old, was taken at 8:00 in the morning to Rodolfo de Lara hospital, with an amputated penis, which he said was caused by his girlfriend, Miguelina Mateo Mariñez, 24 years old .
The police said that Beato Santos was then transferred to the Vinicio Calventi de Los Alcarrizos hospital.
Maríñez, who was arrested the same day by the police, told investigators that she used a razor blade to cut off his penis because he was constantly beating her.
She said she waited for him to fall asleep before amputating his penis.
Police officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Unit (DICRIM), say they are undertaking further investigations to establish the real circumstances that occurred.
In September of last year, Haitian Elicson Lapase removed another man's penis "with his teeth" because he found him having sex with his wife. This happened in the Jamao al Norte in the Espaillat province.
Lapase apparently found Reynaldo Pie naked in his house and accused him of having slept with his wife which led to an argument and a fight in which Lapase bit off Pie's penis.
