Considering this is technically the low season for tourists; bars, restaurants, hotels and local businesses have centainly benefited from this event that attracted local and international tourists to th free concert with music from bands, Soulibre and Groundation.
The event started at 8.30pm ended successfully at 2:30 a.m. with Groundation from California playing two sets of two and a half hours which was followed by a final one and a half. The public wanted more of the roots reggae band that provided all night party vibes and danceable music in Cabarete.

Local group Soulibre reigned in its presentation with some familiar tunes and incited hundreds to enjoy and dance to the beat of rhythms in an impeccable and impressive production.
The World Music festival proved that Cabarete is still an attractive, different and fun, tourist spot and that events like this, free of charge, are needed for the area and their business.
The producers of the event give effusive thanks to all the sponsors who gave their support and invited more companies to jump on board for other events scheduled for later in the year and are encouraged to contribute to the development of the area.
