Focal points designated by the Executive Branch reported that 20 of the 30 recommendations were kept while others are still in implementation.
In this regard, 76 activities were completed, 13 are still in process, and seven were not carried out. On their side, civil society unveiled the results of the independent that performs through the Observatory of IPAC. monitoring
As a document of the press, the IPAC has meant an innovative approach, since it established a mechanism in which all the institutions agreed on a common project of transparency. However, the initiative facing the challenge of permanence as that it will need political will of the authorities u000ato continue.
Specific accomplishments achieved by the IPAC and announced in this workshop are highlighted: the citizen's Portal that facilitates public access to budget information of the Dominican State, progress towards the implementation of the single treasury account; the submission to Congress of the proposal of the Dominican Institute of access to public information; the creation of a portal where informs citizens about planned outages and actual provision of each circuit; the incorporation of more than 53,000 civil servants to administrative careers.
Among the Government officials attending this workshop were the Minister of the Presidency, Cesar Pina Toribio; that of economy, planning and development, Juan Themistocles Montás; the Comptroller General of the Republic, Simon Lizardo; the executive director of the Conare, Villamán frameworks; and Deputy Minister of Treasury and Technical Director of PAFI, Maria u000aFelisa Gutierrez, among others.
La IPAC started in June 2010 by a request of the President of the Republic, through the work of 10 tables for discussion of these issues.
